Wednesday August 29th
Amber Young and Lindsey Lambden are teaming up to offer this family friendly, pay what you can yoga, to help bring our amazing community together and bring this amazing practice to people of all ages through the summer months. A combination of mindfulness techniques, cooperative games, storytelling through yoga, basic postures, and lots of laughter. Please call the studio at 613-451-2891, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more information, registration is not necessary, just stop by the park Wednesday mornings. The yoga practices will be suitable for seasoned yogi’s and those new to yoga – accessible to all generations. All you need is a willingness to have some fun! Mats are optional, as the grass provides a nice foundation to practice from.
If you drive into Gemmil by the swings, pass the skate park and tennis courts (on your right), keep driving or walking past the running track – you will find us at the end of that drive way – located to the left of the canteen just after the running track. We sure hope to see you there.
In the event of us needing to relocate to the studio due to weather conditions, we will post here, as well on our facebook page by 9:00 that day.
Upcoming Karma classes:
What is a karma class?? The teacher donates their time and their teachings, the studio donates their space, and you (the student) donate what you can (no donation is too small and please note 100% of all donations goes directly to the cause) in support of local causes and community support. A beautiful gift of your practice and our teaching, connecting us through kindness.
Monday, August 20th, 5:45 – 7:00 (Mary’s Kundalini class)
These are pay what you can classes where 100% of money raised will go directly to a family, organization or cause in our community. These 2 classes are being held with the intention to help support a family in need of extra support. If you are able please come out, your thoughts and prayers are also a big help. The simple donation of your thoughts and energy sent out through your practice makes a difference, it takes a village to raise a family and we feel so blessed to call this village home – supporting eachother.
Suggested amount $10, although no amount is to small.

MalaRae is a unique mala company based in the Ottawa region of Canada. The owner, Kyla Rae, designs and makes each piece either herself with care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. As the process of making malas influences the energy of mala beads, each piece is made with love and only during a positive and peaceful state of mind. All malas are made with top quality semi-precious gemstones and crystals, as well as seeds and lava rock. The number of stones is specific to the spiritual number of 108, with a knot in between each. Once complete, each piece is sage cleansed and moonlit charged.
